Building strong negotiation foundations through practical finance education

Budget Negotiation Workshops & Events

We run practical sessions throughout the year where you can work through real budget scenarios, practice negotiation techniques, and connect with others navigating similar financial conversations. Most workshops include case studies from Australian businesses and cover strategies that actually work in professional settings.

Upcoming Sessions

We've scheduled these for late 2025 and early 2026. Each session focuses on specific budget negotiation skills, from preparing your case to handling pushback from stakeholders. You'll leave with frameworks you can apply immediately.

People often ask similar things before signing up. Here's what we hear most, organized by topic so you can find what's relevant to your situation.

Registration & Logistics

We typically open registration six weeks before each event. Seats fill up quickly for in-person workshops—usually within two weeks. Online sessions have more capacity. You'll get confirmation within 48 hours of registering.

Who Should Attend

These workshops work best for people who need to negotiate budgets regularly—project managers, department heads, small business owners, or anyone preparing major financial requests. We've had participants from hospitality, healthcare, tech startups, and local government.

Materials & Preparation

You'll receive a preparation email one week before the workshop with a short pre-work assignment. This takes about 30 minutes and helps you get more from the session. All materials are provided, though you might want to bring a laptop for the advanced workshop.

Follow-Up Support

After each workshop, you get access to our participant forum for three months. Many attendees find this helpful when they're applying techniques to their actual negotiations. We also send monthly case study emails with new scenarios to practice.

Pricing & Policies

Workshop fees vary by session length and format. Foundation workshops run around 0, advanced sessions about 0, and review sessions 0. We offer a 15% discount if you register for multiple events at once. Refunds available up to two weeks before the event date.

Group Attendance

Bringing your team? We can arrange private sessions tailored to your organization's specific budget cycles and stakeholder dynamics. This works well when multiple people need to align on negotiation approaches. Contact us to discuss timing and pricing for groups of five or more.

Workshop participant providing feedback

Brontë Hargraves

Operations Manager, Healthcare

The foundation workshop gave me frameworks I still use two years later. I went in expecting generic advice but got specific tactics for presenting budget requests to executives who typically shut down discussions fast. My approval rate improved noticeably after applying what I learned.

Workshop participant discussing experience

Casimir Vos

Restaurant Owner

I attended the mid-year review session when my seasonal budget was falling apart. The strategies for renegotiating with suppliers and adjusting staff costs helped me navigate a tough conversation with my accountant. Not everything worked perfectly, but I felt more prepared than I would have otherwise.
